We are territory, we are cooperation, we are future.
The cooperative is made up of producer members, currently around 175.
These members constitute the assembly, from which the members of the Governing Council are elected, responsible for the management and representation of the entity.
Our mission is to market and transform the products of the members, guaranteeing efficiency and competitiveness, while offering the necessary services for their activity.
We work for the continuity of the agricultural sector, defending a cooperative model, rooted in the territory and prepared for the challenges of the future.
History
The La Sénia Agricultural Cooperative was founded in 1946.
Initially, the facilities were located on the outskirts of the town, but with the increase in population, in 1996 it was moved to the outskirts to have more space and better conditions.
It is a cooperative dedicated to the olive oil sector, with one outstanding particularity: due to the climate, the dry land territory, the presence of century-old and millenary trees and, above all, the usual strong wind, the harvest campaigns tend to be long and irregular.
Currently, both the members and the cooperative are in the process of modernization and mechanization, with the aim of offering a higher quality product.
